Henderson Shines is an annual community cleanup and education day in which local Henderson, Nevada cleaning services team up with volunteers to dispose of trash, donate clothing and shred unwanted papers. In addition to cleaning up, the residents also safely dispose of environmentally harmful materials found in people’s homes such as paint, motor oil and antifreeze. But aside from acting as a volunteer maid service, the Henderson helpers also stopped by different educational tables set up by the city and learned about keeping their homes and the environment clean.
